Way too often my mornings are rushed and hectic. That extra 20 minutes of snooze time that seemed so worth it as I blearily batted at my phone alarm inevitably evolves into a chaotic rush out the door when I finally do open more than one eye.
But imagine. A peaceful, serene morning of white-chocolate-whipped-cream clouds and waves of Irish Cream that ease you into your morning emails.
And y'all it only takes about 5 minutes. And that delicious whipped cream cloud? You can prep it the night before. Thank you iSi for the fantastic recipe!
This recipe takes advantage of the iSi Gourmet Whip- it's basically what those baristas use at your favorite coffee shop to add that shot of whipped cream to the top of your favorite beverage.
Irish Cream Latte
Servings: 1 | Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
150 g. White Chocolate
300 ml. Heavy Whipping Cream
50 ml. Irish Cream
120 ml. Milk, cold or hot
50 ml. Espresso, cold or hot
1) Place white chocolate in a medium bowl, set aside.
2) Heat together the heavy whipping cream and Irish cream until just simmering. Pour over white chocolate and allow to sit 5 minutes before whisking to combine. Pour directly into the iSi Whipper, screw on the lid/charger and refrigerate 1-2 hours until chilled.
3) Mix together the milk and espresso in your favorite mug - serving either as a hot beverage or a chilled one. Vigorously shake the iSi whipper and spray a few rounds on top. Relax and enjoy!
